Today, all work environments from the largest office buildings, stores, hotels and other work settings are focusing on changing indoor airflow to protect employees. A sense of urgency has been placed with the introduction of airborne viruses—COVID-19 being one of them. The air in the laundry contains lint and dust particles that remain suspended in the air during production hours. Pathogens and bacteria adhere to the surface of these lint and dust particles. The Lint Scrubber will vacuum, filter, entrap and disinfect these particles. This is done without contact by workers. The units can be strategically placed throughout the plant, or a larger central unit can be installed for larger coverage and single-point disposal of the collected contaminate.
SonicAire combustible dust fan systems provide safety, production/economic and regulatory compliance solutions to facilities that generate fugitive lint, fiber and dust. The fans offer an engineered, robotic solution to avoid high-risk manual blow-down cleaning, improve productivity and maintain safe, NFPA 652-compliant working conditions. They use thermal-current control and high-velocity airflow technologies to prevent combustible material from accumulating in overhead areas, forcing it to the floor. Pro Series models available in 1- and 2-hp ratings for typical environments as well as Extreme Series for harsh environments including Class II, Div. 2.
